First of all it's not *my* party, and I'm not referring to Fox New polls. |

Uncharted territory. Obama is trying lots of different things and like most of us, hope some of them work properly. We've given up entirely on Republican drip down. I don't think Obama has gone nearly far enough, but I understand his political need to not slam to the mat the bankers, stockbrokers, corporate execs, and other perpetrators of massive-scale financial fraud. I think the FDIC should move in right now and close a half-dozen major national banks, such as Citibank and Bank of America, get rid of ALL the management, and sell the assets off to groups who might have some idea of how to run a bank in a way that protects depositors, makes the right sorts of loans, and stays out of speculative markets. Sort of like the small local bank I use. |

Sort of like the small local bank I use. Forgetting for a moment who the *pusher(s)* was, it really doesn't matter. I often wonder what the economic climate would be like today if the banks weren't pushed into providing less that ideal home loans. |

Almost 50% voted against the guy, and At least 50% of those are never going to approve of Obama. That drops it to 75%. And there has to be a lot more than 12% that have misgivings since the election with the economy tanking even worse, and the number of tax cheats he has nominated. I have heard 44% for with a 21% against rating. |
