Another real boating post!
Finally finished with the cycle of putting gelcoat on and turning it into
dust. Finished up with a bit of 400 followed by 600. Stuck the housing up on it and all the edges are snug againt the hull so looks like we are flat enough too. http://home.earthlink.net/~jamesgangnc/finish.jpg Now I've got to put the housing back together with all the new bellows and hose. At least with it off the hull I didn't have to drill holes in the sides to get the steering arm off. |

Looks real nice. I haven't waded into this cesspool NG for a while; now
I have to go scrape my shoes off. Fired up Crius'n Rulz! the other day for a little engine excersize. Sure does run sweet after the o/haul. Now all you have to do is repaint the rest of the boat to match the transom. :) And speaking of transom work - did you sell that Tom Servo look alike gumball machine yet? :) -- "I am free of all prejudices. Plus shipping of course. Not going to make much difference but had to get it out of the house. |
