We get the message loud and clear, Dems dont pay taxes, I wonder if HK paid his. In reality, I believe the reason is that Dems are so math challenged that they are unable to figure out how to pay taxes. As proof, I cite their so-called "stimulus" package which is nothing more than bribes to cronies, typical Dem work. |

Be delighted to help make sure you get no more. :) |

Daschle and the Dems are practicing the "Screw everyone else, I got mine" principle. |

We are talking about tax evasion, pure and simple. Us mortals would go to jail for it. Furthermore, he apparently knew this when he accepted Obama's offer for the position, but didn't bother telling anyone until after the nomination was made public. What a guy. "Oooops. I forgot" Eisboch |

After the last eight years of GOP absolutely criminal horrors, Daschle's lapses don't amount to a pimple on the commonweal. Agreed, but the GOP never claimed they had any ethical standards. Well, except no BJ's in the WH. But nothing restricting f**king the American economy and people by giving Wall Street a BJ. That was perfectly okay. The Dems are claiming things have changed. Putting lobbyist/taxcheat Daschle in the cabinet violates the claim. Last thing this country needs is more limousine liberals. I'm very happy the current administration has set a high bar for ethics. It was refreshing to see Obama admit "I screwed up." Per my usual rant, the problem the Dems have is being saddled with the same globalist views they and the Reps have had for a couple decades now. Last year's trade deficit almost equals the proposed "stimulus" in $. All the economists who supported the equity/housing bubbles and loss of jobs are disgraced, but they are still influencing economic policy. You can figure it out from there. But temporary jobs created with more debt will *not* revive a moribund economy which is guided by the same old globalist thinking. --Vic |
