I'm fascinated by your reportage of Herring's finding a boxguy to build
him a computer. Typically these days one takes that route because one
wants to save a few bucks and build up a desktop unit that is faster in
many ways or unique compared to a dell or whatever. There's nothing
Herring ever indicated here that would reveal his need for anything more
than an Atari 400. Plus, he has a BestBuy a few miles away.

Hell, I might have given him one of my spares. I think it important to
help the handicapped.
