I really do like the Linux this thang uses. It's easier to type when you use your fingers instead of your toes, especially on a tiny keyboard. Really. Even SW Tom would agree. Maybe. Well, he'd probably argue. I've got a spare CPU...maybe you could wire it into that ASUS for an upgrade? :) (Saw one of those ASUS bitty computers at my last visit to the big computer store in our area. Not for sale, one of the customers had one and was checking something or price, probably prices on line somewhere.) |

It is seriously fast, boots up in 15 seconds and has 16 GB on an SD chip. A true travel computer. I hate most laptops for being a lousy compromkise. I see peeps bring out these humongous things that gtake 5 min to boot 3while I gtake out my tinhy asus taking onlyh 16 secs, Typiong is an issue, specially aftwer a couple glasses of wine. However, I once typed a 10 page techie paper on it. AND only cost $350. |
