In late 1980's I had an 8 week sabbatical and I bought the motor home to take the wife and kids on a tour of the USA. We took 7 weeks and took the northern route to Boston and then down the coast to NYC, DC (nice tour of the east and west wings of the Whitehouse. Helps to be connected for the West wing tour. then down to friends at Ft. Bragg and home via a southern route and the grand canyon. Sold it a couple years later. Actually traded it in on a new 1989 Aerostar for the wife. We camped for years in tents. Youngest daughter and husband still do. |
