Ain't technology grand?

FYI: *I spent the afternoon at the Yale University library and got a
chance to look through their photo collection - amazing images there,
some unbelievable historical documents. *I was awed. Spent a couple of
hours with the one of the graduate students doing some research - a
very nice young lady who tolerated an old fart with an interest in
photography.

Good time was had by all.

A diet coke and a 1/2 pound Burger? *Save those calories somewhere ;}

Hey - I ain't et nuttin' all freakin' day. *:)

Besides, I don't eat the bread - nekkid burger with American cheese,
bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on the side.

I'm a freakin' gormet I am.

More like gromet.

Maybe next time - I know you've recommended it before.

This time, I'm at the mercy of Mrs. Wave, but I have to say that this
place is pretty good - the burgers are excellent, the house salad is
outfreakinn' standing and the fries are to die for.

And the internet connection is solid as a rock.

Can't beat it.

Where did you eat? For you, for a burger, I would have recommended the
York Street Cafe. Your kind of guys. I would have headed to Louis'
Lunch, but that's quite a walk off the campus.

Too bad you are eating...I'd recommend Pepe's on Wooster Street.

Pepe's Pizza is terrible. The pizza tastes of soot, and is bland beyond
belief.

Check out this video made from inside Pepe's and decide for yourself-

This is one of the few times I'll agree with Harry. If you like thin crust
pizza, Pepe's is the best on the planet. Followed closely by Sally's down
the street. That video made me hungry for Pepe's and I'm 2600 miles away!
The folks in the video must be Round Table Pizza fans...

Pretty sad. Looks like a pizza I got at a place in Edwardsville, Il.
My sis lives there and she avoids eating pizza there, but I was
visiting and felt like having pizza. She figured it might be okay
because this was one of the "toniest" restaraunt/pizzarias in town.
It was a disaster. So thin and overcooked the cheese was burned and
the sauce blackened. And it was a 30 buck disaster. For a 16".
Course if you like that kind of pizza........ Go for it!
Worked in a Chicago suburb once and my workmates - all from that
suburb or nearby suburbs - raved about a local pizza place.
We went there for lunch once and I was looking forward to it.
Bit into the pizza, and the sauce was... ketchup.
Damn.

I went to school in Dayton, OH for a year. The local places used, I think,
Cambells tomato soup without adding water as the sauce. Bad!
