A new Huckins, anyone?

Just got hold of my new copy of Motor Boating, and read up on the new
Linwood 56 by Huckins. Although I could never afford it, I'd like to
have a ride in one, first-hand. Hydroconic Hull, Twin Cummins power
with Hamilton jet drives, and 40 mph, all in comfort...Pheeeeeeeew.

I used to drive by the Huckins boatyard several times a week when I
lived in Jax, and called once to set up a tour. I hope the place is
still there, in a marina off Roosevelt Boulevard. It was on the way to
the West Marine store I used to frequent. There almost always was a
grand old Huckins at the yard, sometimes several, being refurbished.
