My 2 cycle 90 hp Yamaha has oil injection so I do not have to mix
oil. Apparently, when the throttle linkage on the carb opens it causes more oil to be injected. There is a small plastic ball and socket joint for this linkage that can easily break. When this happens, it goes to full oil injection. For things at my work, I have tried to use these plastic ball and socket joints and find them to be too weak for anything other than toys. I would not use them on anything I designed. Perhaps, somebody needs to make metal replacements........... |
