MSNBC is reporting that the Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston may receive
up to $300,000 for the first pictures of their son Tripp.

The price didn't soar immediately, according to the sources, because
Sarah Palin stories just didn't sell all that well for the weeklies on
newsstands.

Bristol Palin, the 18-year-old daughter of former Republican
vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gave birth on Sunday to a
healthy 7 lb., 4 oz., baby boy in Palmer, Alaska.

"We think it's wonderful," said Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol's
grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news. "The baby is fine and
Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited."

The baby's name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, according to Jones.

The baby's father, Levi Johnston, is training to be an electrician.
Bristol is taking correspondence courses to obtain her high school
diploma. The couple has been together for three years.

A neighbour said she saw a picture of me and my Springer Spaniel in a
freebie weekly publication this month.
It's titled 'Best Friends'. The photographer caught us coming out of a
local park a month ago and took the pictures and asked both of our likes &
dislikes, plus first names etc.
I didn't get one red cent yet some kid knockes his girlfriend up and gets
$300K.
The US sure is a wacky place!
