Exactomundo.

You should see what they've done with the dune restoration project at
the upper end of the beach - it's amazing. When they started six
years ago, there was nothing - literally. Now there are dunes
extending dwon from the Watch Hill Beach club down to Napatree point
150 yards or so and one of them is 40 feet high - about thrity feet
high on average. I heard that they have another 5/600 yards to go and
they expect it to take another 10 years or so.

The best part is it's not costing much money and it's still open to
walk the beach - they've done some nice paths and you can actually
walk the top of the dunes by path.

Hell of a job.

I hadn't realized that had been going on but we were anchored back
behing the beach for a while summer of 2007 and it looked like the
dunes were bigger than I'd remembered.

That's an interesting comparison - they are even higher now.

They can't be doing all that with snow fence can they?
