Here is a thread as to how ineffective and useless the AMA is in CT.
We have only 1 publicly available riding area here even though we pay
the AMA a lot of money to represent us. That area is actually provided
by the Army Corp or engineers at the Thomaston dam and is only open a
few months a year. In the event you would actually like to be infomed
about a subject you seem to want to chime in on, here is a link to a

My point really was that like union management, the AMA is only in it
for themselves, greedy middle men with no interest in doing any good
but for themselves and their wallets.. Sellouts, just like most union/
management types...
