Obama

I am developing more respect and confidence in Obama. He seems to have his
act together and is doing a decent job in setting up his team.

A week or so ago I wasn't so sure. I felt that given the extraordinary set
of circumstances that exist in the economy that he should become more vocal
and active in terms of outlining plans, people and ideas for his
administration and I made that point in this NG.

At the time, the chief resident Obama supporter excused his lack of action
on constitutional grounds, i.e. , "there's only one President", tradition
and what not.

Thankfully, Obama now seems to feel otherwise and, although still respecting
the fact that there's only one President at a time, is throwing tradition to
the wind and is getting his ass in gear. Good for him.

Since he hired the fisherman, Rahm Emanuel.

Obama is finally under adult supervision.

Bush is smart enough to do his President thing while allowing Obama to
spread his wings and start to take flight.

Somebody told The Obama that he has to stop voting present on Jan 20th
and now is as good a time as any to start.

I am going to let the market decide. It has always been, and likely alway
will be the best barameter of what is to come. The market is smart enough
to look at GM and say taxes for jobs don't work. Clears the political PR
crap inside of 2 days. And never seen a market wrong for more than 3 days.
