Most of us can not remember anniversaries.

Mrs. Wave, intentionally I might add, announced that our wedding date
would forever be called July 3rd. The logic behind this insanity is
that I would never forget what the date was as it came the day before
July 4th.

Oddly, it's worked. :)

And, an extra added bonus, I haven't seen her on our anniversary for
the past 25 years because that's the weekend of the NEA convention and
she's never been home for it. :)

Ok, that's a slight exaggeration - I have flown out to where the
convention was held for our anniversary - notably, 20th, 25th and
30th.

All the others though have been home alone.

Which...well, I'll just leave it there and move on. :)
