Humminbird compatable topo maps
 

Hi All;

I bought a Hummibird Matrix 67 chartplotter/sonor a couple of years
ago only to find out that there aren't any maps available for our
inland lakes here in Nova Scotia, making the GPS capability useless.
Humminbird also doesn't provide any info on other compatible programs
even though there are a number of topo programs available (I have a
Magellan handheld with good topo maps). Anyone out there in cyberspace
aware of anything compatible with my unit or a way one can be
converted for it?

As a general rule, the only maps/charts that can be uploaded to a
GPS/Chartplotter are those produced by the maker of that plotter
(although I understand that there may be some labour-intensive
work-arounds for some makes.)
