Me You need to do a little more research...... Mick is in EUROPE, a couple of thousand miles out of the FCC's jurisdiction, last time I checked..... Except the EU has a similar set of Rules inplace for Radio Type Acceptance, and doing what he suggests, would violaate the EU Rules as well....Larry, you should know this stuff........ As long as the licensee has the necessary authority to operate on the marine channel in question then there is no violation of the regulations. I picked up the HX350S up cheap on eBay and it is in mint condition with a good battery and microphone. It is the intrinsically safe model and gives excellent performance. If I program in the channel in question it will mean just carrying the one handset. Mick |
