Wiring question
 

Hi

I just purchased a 50HP Evinrude Year is in the 70s.
Will get year if needed.

When I put a meter on the pos to ground it says it's grounded.

Should this be?

The engine wont start.

There seems to be no spark in either plug.

I assumed the the pos being grounded was the cause. I used the
continuity test not a voltage test.

Good to know though.
