Furuno Navnet MaxSea Software

Does anyone here have experience with the new Furuno MaxSea software
for Navnet?

At first reading of the specs it looks like this software has the
capability of turning a PC into more or less a fully functional Navnet
node with remote (or secondary) display of chart plotter and radar
data via an ethernet connection.

Can anyone confirm this, and/or share some Furuno tech contact
information?

Yes. It works with a basic PC or Laptop. Waypoints, Radar, GPS information
are transported via TCPIP packets.
