It is apparently a GPS with some sort of network connection that will
talk to other Raymarine devices with network connections as part of a BAN
Boat Area Network.

That it has Seatalk, just like all the other instrument series that they
produce and have produced.

Seatalk is nothing like NMEA.

NMEA can be tricky to interconnect when you get many devices.

unless you don't speak chinese. It ain't a matter of being "technical" it's
a matter of being WRONG.
