Does anyone know what this means ? It is apparently a GPS with some sort of network connection that will talk to other Raymarine devices with network connections as part of a BAN Boat Area Network. |

Does anyone know what this means ? That it has Seatalk, just like all the other instrument series that they produce and have produced. So, not something new. -- Kees |

NMEA can be tricky to interconnect when you get many devices. Yep. That's why there is a market for my multiplexers ;-)) Meindert |

OK, if your a techie it's might be very different but it's still just a
language so instruments can talk together. Bjarke "Meindert Sprang" wrote in message ... "Bjarke Christensen" (nej, det skal selvfølgelig være med K da jeg er dansker) wrote in message . dk... Yeah, just like chinese is a language people can use to talk to each other, unless you don't speak chinese. It ain't a matter of being "technical" it's a matter of being WRONG. |

OK, so you claim it's not a language for instruments to talk together and
exchange data. So what is it ? Go back and read the thread. |
