An alternative is to get a ST-60 Multi display, this has NMEA input and
output. In other words, you spend more but you also have a NMEA/Seatalk
repeater... In the Netherlands the RSP for the multi is € 491,60 and the
Z290 is € 204,20 (ex vat). Your mileage will vary according to your
national distributor... This way, for "only" € 286 you gain a repeater.

Rediculous pricing, isn't it? The Z290 cost around $160 in the US. That
equals around 130 euro....
