I use it with BlueChart on my boat and have had absolutely no problems. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
I bought the 172 last fall, along with BlueChart cartridges, and used it going
down the ditch to/from FLorida last winder. My wife is now mad at me - she wants to know why I didn't get it earlier! We both found it easy to use and very effective. Of course, we still have paper charts but use the 172 as the primary navigational tool. Can you use it with the fishing hotspot maps. I have a Ranger bass boat, and want to get a plotter for my dash and a plotter/sonar for my bow. Thanks Chris |

Mine is mounted on the dash of my cabin cruiser and I have no problem
reading it in bright sunshine from the wheel.
