Hello Lee,
I had posted a response to your question earlier, but for some reason it didn't take. If your instrument is a S200DL then there is not a keel offset adjustment on this model. All readings are from beneath the face of the transducer. If you have another model depth sounder, please contact me by email and I can let you know how to make the adjustment (if it is possible). Steve Steve, I thought that Datamarine was no longer in business. Perhaps you could answer my question. I have a Datamarine depth sounder but cannot figure out any way to adjust the reading to give me an accurate depth since the transducer is a few feet below the waterline. I have a manual for a slightly more modern Datamarine depth sounder on another boat, but it also does not have any instructions on how to compensate for the location of the sounder. Any help would be appreciated. Lee Huddleston s/v Truelove |
