Hello all.
I have a Motorola 3 watt bag that works great, but the antenna
connector that was soldered to the inside of the chasis came loose
inside. This is okay though, as I was looking for a way to connect the
phone to the boats fat 9/16 inch antenna adapter anyways.

The boats antenna connector is a female that connects to a 9/16 inch
male stub (on radio) - i think this is the standard boat VHF antenna
female connector.
Anybody know where I might find these adapters? and what their
official names / dimensions are.
Many thanks for any help or information.
A marine VHF antenna will not work effectively at cell phone
frequencies. If you want an external antenna for your cell phones,
you should buy an antenna intended for that service.
The usual antenna connector used on fixed-mount marine VHF radios (and
CBs) is called "UHF". The connector on the bag phone is likely a TNC
(threaded coupling) or BNC (bayonet coupling).
Radio Shack does have some between-series coax adaptors.
