I need a new VHF and have always liked Furuno - looked at their site
and no VHF radios ??

"GMDSS" is big ship language for $$$$$.

Very good quality, 24VDC power, but MSRP $1995. We looked at it
because 24VDC radios were a possible alternative (on a 24VDC boat) to
running a separate 12VDC power supply used only for the radios.
