Hi all,

I just bought a boat that has a Lowrance Global Map 1000, and a Furuno 1621
mark-2 radar. I have been trying to find info on the lowrace to see if it
works as a chart plotter or just a fancy GPS. And the radar I cannot even get
to power up. I did not buy the boat because of the electronics, as far as I am
concerned, its is just icing on the cake should I get them to work for me.

Any info given to me on these units I will greatly appreciate.
