Thanks for Skippy having to use SPOT all the time like a binky . . .

The whole world now knows the exact coordinates of an empty house in Georgia
off Persimmon road. But, I'm sure the hill billies in those parts are an
honest lot.

That Skippy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

heh.

You haven't been paying attention at all, have you? Yet you
congratulated me on cutting the cord when we sold the house and gave
everything else away. I understand that short-term memory loss is one
of the first signs of senility...

PLEASE send someone up the mountain (it's on the top of a very big
hill - bring your FWD or a good strong engine [or good hiking/climbing
boots if you prefer stealth]). You want to meet some hillbillies,
just try to get to, let alone in, that house. They'll welcome you
with open arms, of the second amendment variety. Persimmon, by the
way, is a very long road, with numerous places on it (or off it, if
you prefer). The one you want is Grouse Mountain Trail, a private
road (the one with the yellow sign, the county roads are green
signs). Let us know who to send the remains to :{))

We have no land based home. We DO have lots of friends. Pay
attention, and I might turn it on to lead you to the reddest neck's
home you can imagine in SSI (the one who trained attack dogs for the
Air Force while he was in and has 30 years of Martial Arts under his
several black belts). It's his slip we're in. Yes, he packs...

As to the boat, the moment we moved in the slip, there were several
folks who wanted to know what we were doing there. Folks in South GA
in the flats take their space very seriously, too. Flying Pig is
reasonably well watched from near and far, here. Having a unique name
has some benefits...

Meanwhile, the weather won't be right for a few days so we're
continuing with minor boat chores and just enjoying being back
aboard. The shore life is definitely not our cup of tea... We prolly
will head out, forecast watching permitting confirmation of the
expected front, Saturday or so, to go directly to MIA, thence south
for a while. Y'all come play with us, y'hear?

PS in case you have any "other" ideas, the "redneck" is joining us for
several days to go diving with me. You get to guess which ones :{))

You make it sound as if he'll DO anything ;-)

You would have been more likely to meet him at the beginning of your
trip, if you'd explored the backwaters of that area.

Filmed right in his neighborhood.

Is that Lydia sitting there in the upstairs window watching Skippy dance the
jig?

Not a chance, I know.

You'd never believe, but I thought for a minute earlier today that
Neal had pulled into the anchorage, next to our benefactor's moored
boat (the mooring I created in 2 hours of zero-vis a couple of weeks
ago).

Yellow hull, ugly, outboard on the back. Only thing which convinced
me it couldn't be was that it wasn't ugly enough, and it looked way
too good, despite its ugliness, to be the fantastic Coronado 27
yacht...

crashed HD recovery with a fantastic tool from Kernel

You must not know of the Good Captain's reputation very well. He never
"pulls" into an anchorage, he "sails" in and he arrives precisely when he
intends to arrive. And he would never give a moored vessel a foul berth.

As does any cruiser. They intend to arrive when they get there.
