Shameless plug for Cap'n Ron's cookin'...

http://www.capnrons.com/index.html

Cap'n Ron is one of the free spirits in an old cabin cruiser on E-dock at
Ashley Marina. He's a likable cuss who lives on his boat, does odd jobs
for other boaters around the marina like refinish wood things, repair
stuff, a handyman, to earn a little money (not too much, though, which
would spoil his lifestyle) and keep himself fed. If you're lookin' for
"genteel", you're not gonna find it there.

Right after Cap'n Ron showed up on E-dock right next to my friend Joe's
Jeanneau I was working on, we became casual acquaintenances. He's kind of
standoffish until you get to know him long term.

Cap'n Ron is also a master at cookin' on a boat stove or that little rusty
BBQ hangin' off the stern. How anyone can make that kind of food in that
tiny galley is just magic.

One of my other boater friends inadvertently sent me an email intended for
someone else about the webpage he made for Cap'n Ron's little spice
business. After drooling over some of the recipes on the new webpages, I
thought many of you excellent boat cuisine chefs might want to try out some
of them on your crews. However, I can't be held responsible for anything.

Cap'n Ron will even cater your event with his cooking, if you like. You'll
see a testimonial from AJ's, one of the best beach restaurants in
Charleston. They're serving these dishes to the naive, non-boating public,
which I'm not sure is exactly legal.

Most good beers will put out any ensuing fires before they become a medical
emergency. SIP the chile! I'm warnin' ya! Have plenty of beer handy,
just in case.

Tell him Larry from over on "Dress Parade" told you about him....(c;] I
might get some leftovers.
