Default Albin 27 aft cabin, any opinions?

Would welcome any opinions/experiences with the Albin 27'
with aft cabin. Would be used as coastal cruiser in the Florida
area and would be lived aboard for 3 to 4 months at a time.
Thanks

My father and uncle used to own a 1983 Albin with the aft cabin. Got
tired of the aft cabin real quick. Constantly having to carry supplies over
the cabin. And walking over and around it. The aft cabin door leaked.
The aft cabin had no bulkhead separating it from the fuel tank, so
it alway stank of diesel fuel.
There was not much deck space. It had a built in cooler but, it wasn't
insulated. It was also in a bad place hard to reach. The front hatch didn't
have any caulking so water would pour in in rough weather. Didn't like the
dinette as part of the V-berth there was very little room by the galley.
