lower unit installation???????
 

So I installed my newly rebuilt outdrive but the lower unit does not want to
shift out of fwd gear. It appears that the shift shaft is installed
backward....can this happen?? The shaft will shift correctly if moved to
the right but the shift cable pull to the left...could the repairman have
put it in backwards?
