So, I can't find Marelon, can't find Bronze, in the particular

1) Im not sure where you are skip but id think with all the time on
the internt just start shopping on line then FexEx for your "Yacht In
Transit."

2) Duhh, ASK HERE instead of just rambling on with your ____ (fill in
here)_____ post !

Which is better - Nylon or Brass? *Perhaps that's the reason for the
failure of the original nylon fitting...

I think the earlier poster answered that question. Bronze
or for non-moving no-stress above the water line I might consider
Marelon.

But for an emergency Id use nylon But the problme is if you use it
youll
just forget about it and keep operating your boat till it fails again.
But it may fail which contributes to a more serious failure.

Watch the movie FINAL DESTINATION 1 or 2.

And, by implication ("at least" - "to better withstand"), Marelon
should not be used in any wet applications either??

Ill let Willbur answer this question for you. He would be more
diplomatic than me.
