All that venom for one nugget worth reading. Better than most posts, that lack even a shred of boating content. Run aground at high tide on the wrong day of the lunar month, and you can be there for two weeks. They call that getting 'neaped' and big ships have done it. Casady Dear Casady: Venom............. nah, However, I do assume the people who post here have a certain level of sailing competency. especially when a person proclaims to be a USCG licensed captain, vessel owner, operator, and self named cruiser. Not to mention a pathologically disclosive on a public discussion board (RBC). Any 9 year old rowing a skiff around a bay knows when ya get stuck at high tide youre gonna be stuck there till the next HIGHER tide..... and than may be months if ur boat is big enough. As Ive said before, when some guy like skip says something stupid and potentially hazardous and no body here says a thing except "oo, its so nice skip and lydia are following their dreams" it is somebody’s responsibility to set the record straight. So why didnt you say anything??? Didnt recognize Skips stupidity? Bob |
