Skip update
 

Heard from Skip. He's been hiding out in Three Mile Harbor. That's a
good place to be if the weather isn't so great. He is thinking about
heading to Mattituck Inlet. I gave him some "local knowlege" for
getting in and out safely. The charts for that inlet are old and very
incomplete. As long as he follows my directions and watches the depths
carefully, he'll be fine, and will end up in a really nice anchorage
complete with free hot showers and a dinghy dock.

I think the worst of Hanna will come in the wee hours of Sunday
morning, and will not be nearly as bad as what was originally
predicted. By Sunday afternoon, the wind will have died down and the
waves subsided.

I told him that the SPOT hasn't updated since Thursday afternoon.
There's probably nothing he can do about it, but I thought he might
want to know.
