HELP: Looking for Original Raymarine GyroPlus Yaw Sensor P/N

Can anyone help me find the Part Number for the Original (External)
Raymarine GyroPlus Yaw Sensor.

Also any suggestions where I might be able to purchase this part (not
manufactured since 2001).

Thanks!

Is this what you mean? Google: "Raymarine GyroPlus Yaw Sensor" external part
number. You get one hit.

GyroPlus yaw sensor

The Type 150 and Type 400 course computers do not contain a

built-in GyroPlus, but you have the option of adding:

• an external GyroPlus (part number: M81162)

• or a dealer-fitted internal GyroPlus (part number: A18069)

I believe that the part number is M81162 and it carries the Autohelm
designation of Z179. It was used with the Corepack 100/300 series
autopilots.

You might try eBay for one of these. I bought one about 2.5 years ago
on eBay. Price at that time was about $425.

I can tell you that the addition of this transducer on my autopilot
corepack 300 has made steering in following seas quite good. Although
it was expensive, I have not regretted the purchase.

Good luck.
