Hunter Yachts!

We've been sailboats shopping on the west coast, British Columbia, Wash,
Oregon and much to our surprise we seem to be leaning toward a Hunter,
around 37' to 42', largely because of the cockpit conveniences, design
layout, lots of woodwork below, well equipped galley, two decent sized
staterooms and most we looked at had the rear swim-board design which at
first glance seems really convenient for access. Any comments on this
type of design, pros and cons would be appreciated. I would imagine this
could be quite interesting in rough following seas.

Also, one we looked at had free standing rigging, no shrouds, spreaders
etc. Sure makes for an unobstructed deck, everyone have experience with
this type of rigging?
