Canadian Chart Packs?

Is there any vendor of chart packs or books for Canadian charts ?
I am thinking of the equivalent of the big books that cover Maine to
Portland or Portland to Boston..

This page is list of Canadian Hydrographic Service Dealers.

There does not appear to be any in New Hampshire.

As a west coast sailor, I am not sure about a chart book for East
Coast. There are two for the west coast: 3312 and 3313.

For paper charts, you must use individual charts available from the Hydro
Office. For electronic charts, you can purchase a CD (Nova Scotia, for
example) put out by the Hydro Office, but available from several other
vendors.

You will also want to latch onto one (or more) of the cruising guides. In
some cases, especially on the Eastern Shore of NS, the charts simply aren't
good enough for sailing the "inside" routes, and a local cruising guide is
pretty much a necessity. I cannot recommend the CCA guide all that much,
although it was for a very long time the standard. Loveridge is quite good.
There are 3 or 4 others I have used. Contact me if you would like details.

Canadian Chart Packs?

Two years ago, a local company was introducing a new book of marine charts
for this area. The charts were beautiful...great colours and detail.
At the time only four were completed and in the book...
St. Margaret's Bay
Mahone Bay
Halifax Harbour
4th ???
When I go to the local boat show next month, I'll see if they are still
being produced.

Here's the URL for Digital Ocean if you want electronic. Perhaps they can give
you leads on a chart pack. Nice folk:

Some areas have chart books. Call www.nauticalmind.com, a bookstore in
Toronto - they'll know what's available. I'm thinking of a publication
called Richardson's, I think - not quite as detailed as the Hydrographic
Service charts, but quite serviceable.

There may be some special knowledge about this on can.rec.boating.
