Raytheon chart plotter compatibility question

Is it true that a raytheon chartplotter can be hooked to a raymarine
system via HSB cable? If so this looks like a very cheap solution to
dual station electronics...

If the chartplotter is a RC520+ (plus) model, hsb2 could be used for
adding an extra chartplotter to an existing Raymarine "plus"
chartplotter model. And via SeaTalk, this extra chartplotter unit will
also have "access to" inputs from all other SeaTalk instruments.
