To anyone who hasn't realized it, Wilbur (or whoever he is) posted the initial note trolling in an attempt to get a response from me (the only lawyer on the ng who owns a MacGregor). Since I didn't take the bait, he was stuck with all the indignant responses from everyone else and more or less made an ass of himself. Sorry, Wilbur. - Better luck next time! .....Anyone doubt that Wilbur's pitiful trolling attempt backfired on him? Jim Jim, hate to tell you this but this post is a response to him...please remove the hook from your mouth before you get yanked into his boat... |

Jim You'll never make a decent troll. You don't have a clue about what motivates a troll. The type of response matters little. As a matter of fact, the more indignant the response the better. Trolls are puppet masters. Not, that I claim to be one. I'm just a sailor who likes to talk about sailing. And motoring around in a Mac26 is a far cry from sailing. So, get off the group you big dope! Wilbur Hubbard |

Jim You'll never make a decent troll. You don't have a clue about what motivates a troll. I have no interest in becoming a troll, if that's what you mean. The type of response matters little. As a matter of fact, the more indignant the response the better. Trolls are puppet masters. Not, that I claim to be one. You don't get it, do you Wilbur. (Or more likely, you're not willing to admit it.) - It's obvious that you were aiming at me, but you missed. Instead, you shot yourself in the foot. I'm just a sailor who likes to talk about sailing. And motoring around in a Mac26 is a far cry from sailing. Sure thing, Wilbur. - Just another devoted sailor who likes to talk about sailing. (Plus Al Gore, fat people (human swine, according to you), daylight savings time, anyone who questions Bush's judgement, dumb illiterates who live in DC, all Dems, etc., etc. So, get off the group you big dope! Not a chance. - But maybe you should consider leaving, or at least leaving behind your "Wilbur" mis-identification. Jim |

Scotty At the time, maybe. - But I've seen several notes you posted since then that suggest you had some good times on your Mack. We had some *great* times on the old Mac. What's your point? Scotty My point is that, in view of the "great times" you had on your Mac, you should acknowledge that a Mac can be great fun. - (I never see anything like that in any of your notes to or about me, which makes your notes highly misrepresentative and misleading.) As I have said many times, I'm only attempting to bring a semblance of balance to discussion of the Macs that seem to delight a small vocal minority on this ng. I'm not saying that the Macs don't have limitations. OK. I answered in a rational, reasonable manner. Big mistake, right?. - Bash away Scotty. Jim |
