How big? We have a center cockpit 37 which gives us plenty of space to

50 feet is in the ballpark for a long term liveaboard. In a sail boat
however, that's a lot of boat for two people to handle when the wind
is blowing hard. We ended up with a 49 ft trawler after looking at a
lot of different alternatives, and it has worked out fairly well so
far.
