Newsgroups were a concoction created by geeks who flourished on
mainframes before ARPA released the 'internet' to our care. These
days, newsgroups use internet protocols to carry the message lists in
thousands of interest groups from news server to server. So the
question could be put this way: does anyone archive this group?

Given that any PC you buy could now handle a few terabytes of storage,
without straining the piggy bank more than a few hot game systems - I
expect there are a few public access archives, - maybe in the kid's
bedroom who lives down the street? - but the grand daddy of newsgroup
archivers, DejaNews, is now subsumed under Google - the ragingly
successful search engine house. You will see a tab on the google page
for groups. You might do worse than start there.
