Lots of firms do this, but they are usually embroiderers rather than clothing manufacturers. They work on the clothing panels sent to them by the clothing makers, although some of the really big manufacturers do have their own embroidery machines. Yellow Pages is a good place to start if you want to find a local source. Dennis. |

Don't know where you live... but in my home port (Halifax) there are a number of firms that will put any logo/name you want on your t-shirts etc. The place where I worked did it all the time.. and gave away the promo stuff. I once ordered 35 black t-shirts with the logo and name of our trade union... just before we merged with a larger union. That t-shirt was made in 1998 and you can still make out the logo... after hundreds of washings. My advice... don't go cheap on the clothing. Get good quality heavy weight t-shirts. note: My Sandpiper 565 group has started a yearly rendezvous and here's a picture of the t-shirts they make up. front.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...d/Hpim0148.jpg and back.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...d/Hpim0149.jpg |

Even in a small centre you can probably find a firm that does this kind of work. Ask people involved with local sports teams, or ask your yacht club where they get t-shirts and stuff done. Nothing cements a race crew like buying them all a $25 golf shirt and it's way cheaper than a new headsail... Ryk, looking up at a tier of embroidered hats |
