Motor assisted bike

Over a year ago we discussed a motor assisted bike for the not so energetic
cruiser.

This was a 'after market' motor that mounted behind the seat and could be
engaged against the tire for a little help on the hills and cruising on the
flat. Just a simple little 2 cycle engine of about 20 cc.

If I remember correctly the outfit was somewhere in Colorado.

Does anyone remember this topic or have a link to the site..

(I'm computing via my cell phone, so I can't do a google search from here
at 14.4 )

I'm finding it difficult to get public transportation from many of the
anchorages and have been hitch hiking to the main highways.. I'd rather
bike, but then I would like to have a little help on the hills.

I don't want to go with one of those scooter since the buses are only
equipt to carry regular bikes. I think I could sneak by with a mountain bike
with one of these assist motors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Steve
