Back in a 1999 Boneyard Boats I ran across a 1934 Kyle & Purdy custom
cruiser laying NJ. It was 38ft, powered by a single Chyrsler 6 motor. She had a tall bow that tapered back in graceful sheer to her transom, and a center-cabin with side entrance. It was put up for rescue by her owner, a woman who had restored the boat and cruised with her late husband. I never discovered if the boat went to a new home, or wound up being destroyed. She looked like a sweet craft, and I'd appreciate any information about her whereabouts. Thank you in advance. R. Sprattling |
