FWIW I maintained racebikes for many years. We used Amsoil because rings & pistons lasted 3-5x longer and bearings indefinately. Naturally YMMV. Howard |

After 20 years of running outboards in the tour boat business, we have never
lost an engine due to failure from the tcw 3 oils we have been using, and we been using the cheapest. Usually penzoil |

If you use a good oil like Ams/Oil it won't make any

They are not interchangable because outboard oil is specifically designed for engines that run MUCH cooler. Yeah, a delta T of what...30 degrees ambient? I'm not sure I buy that.... I've never done any analysis of the difference(s).....but surprise me. |
