I have wide 7 1/2 2E feet and have not found "boat shoes" in widths
other than mediums. any suggestions?

I have large feet for a woman and take EEE size 10 shoes. I have
found that the default medium width for women is a B, and the default
men's medium is a D. So I get a men's boat shoe from LL Bean which is
a size smaller (like 9 1/2 wide) and that fits me.

Size 7 1/2 is very small for men's shoes - my dad wore a size 8 and he
had very small feet.

I also get shoes that are not specifically advertised as boat shoes
from catalogs like FootSmart and regular shoe catalogs.

California just like they are known in Massachusetts. They sell shoes and boat
shoes up EEEEEEE and maybe wider!
