"Correctly-wired" marinas will have the 30 amp twist-lock outlets as used on the common Marinco yellow power cables, but many marinas will have home-style 15 amp outlets. Some government wharves may have 20 amp twist-lock (like the 30 amp, but a slightly smaller pin circle diameter). For larger vessels, you may occasionally find 120/240V 50 amp outlets. I think the outlets you will find in BC will be the same you find in the US. -- Peter Bennett VE7CEI email: peterbb4 (at) interchange.ubc.ca GPS and NMEA info and programs: http://vancouver-webpages.com/peter/index.html Newsgroup new user info: http://vancouver-webpages.com/nnq |

I was up there a couple weeks ago in the islands just North West of
Vancouver, and several times in the Gulf Islands, no difference. I never had problems with just the 30 and 15amp. John Pangea |
