Crescent outboard motor.
 

I have recently obtained a Crescent 5a two stroke air cooled outboard
motor which runs very well but cuts out once hot. I suspected the
condencer but replacement has not solved the problem. Does anyone know
what the correct spark plug should be as I cannot be sure the one
fitted is correct?

Check the pushbutton kill switch, too. Some of them are normally closed
switches, not the other way around. If they get corroded and don't stay
closed, the spark will shut down on you. Not sure which way this one is
connected, though....
