Oil Independence Day 2006
High gas prices have created a new group of people -
"pump grumblers." When pumping our high priced gas, we grumble words of resentment, while feeling powerless. We need gas, so we pay the price. Standing as a individual we are powerless, but together our voices would be heard. America is a strong, independent country. When John Kennedy proposed we put a man on the moon, a goal and time line was set. American determination made it happen. Let's apply the same initiative to independence of oil through alternative energy research and use. We already have brilliant minds who are making great strides towards this goal. Demand that the President stand up for us. Ask him to support Alternative energy to free us from oil dependence, starting today. Millions of letters cannot be ignored. Write a paper letter before July 4 to the President. Urge friends and family to do the same. [spam deleted] From: Linda i really enjoy writing non-sense too and posting it to newsgroups that don't have anything to do with it, please read on for my most excellent meaningless post that has nothing to say except what you are reading now which is pretty much nothing except for words that go on and on and string together in a long series of meaningless ideas that do nothing but take up space on the board and annoy anyone who tries to read them. it's so meaningless, in fact, that i don't know why you continue to read these words, i wouldn't if i were you, even writing them is annoying me, but you know it just seems like the right thing to do to keep saying crap that doesn't mean anything in response to empty moronic crap that was posted to one of my favorite newsgroups. am i helping or hurting the situation, who knows, i'm sure such meaningless non-sense as this can't hurt too much, but i can't see how it helps either, it's not like someone who posts annoying empty words to an inappropriate newsgroup like Linda here is going to stop just because i post equally annoying and useless text back at her. i'm sure she isn't even reading it, she just posted it .. fire and forget, hoping that her empty words will land on ears that give them meaning, which i may be doing right now by justifying them with any kind of response at all, but i feel compelled to write back anyway since her post is like a spot on the beautiful canvas that is rec.boats.cruising. if she spreads out her senseless garbage wide and far enough she can play the percentages and hope that her empty words will trigger a response, which it has, in me! though not the intended response of writing the president, it has, instead, make me really dislike the name Linda at least for today, and if anything makes me want to support the President just out of spite. maybe if we all post totally meaningless garbage like this eventually the newsgroup will be so overloaded with useless, non-sailing related stupid ass crap that we won't even be able to find the good posts, that seems to be what is happening over on www.ssca.org at the moment, where a relentless spammer/psycho moron keeps posting endless amounts of garbage to what used to be a very good forum for talking with other sailors. blah blah blah blah blah, non-sense crap crap crap, i can't even think of new ways to express nothing at all, meaningless emptiness, lack of quality, senseless void words spewing forth from an expansive abyss. i'm at a loss to continue on! lol. these senseless posts are like adding water to fine wine, diluting it and making it into something junky and lame, thinning out the fine quality that is our beautiful newsgroup rec.boats.cruising, and i feel just terrible for making it even worse by responding to it. i hope you have enjoyed my most excellent meaningless post, in response to an equally annoying inappropriate post in a terrific newsgroup of cruisers. blah blah blah, making noise and hiding the signal, blah blah blah |

LOL! I read (almost) every word.
Of course, if I was a powerboater burning $60.00 an hour, I might see the relavance. Banning recreational powerboating is the kind of idea bound to crop up in any discussion of the kind of conservation that would get prices back to where we pay no more attention to the cost of the fuel than the cost of the air that burns it. (I'm not advocating such a ban so, save your flames.) -- Roger Long |

Gas is cheaper in 2006 than it was in 1965, when it was 50cUS/US gallon.
"What? Are you CRAZY?!!" Nope, it's true. In 1965, a brand new full-size American car was about 1/10th of the price of a nearly-full-size American minicar, today. Gold, whether the Federal Reserve bankers like it or not, the value standard for the planet, was even LESS than 1/10th of its price, today. Using those two as a "value reference", the price of 50 cent gas should be 5 or 6 US dollars a US gallon! So, as it's only about half that price, gas is actually HALF the price it was in 1965, against the price of the car it goes in or against the value standard of the planet. What DOES continue to change is the value of the American Dollar, quietly under constant devaluation to offset the interest on the Federal Debt, caused by decades of handing out political payoffs of funds we do not have from the Federal printing presses at The Mint: http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ Every person in your family is born owing $US28,056...as of the moment I typed this, but it has gone up since I sent it and you read it, about 1.76 Billion (with the B) per day. Click on the links on the webpage. I've been watching this webpage cause our national disintegration for years and years. Here, this Java-based realtime clock is more fun to watch: http://www.toptips.com/debtclock.html The realtime "price" of gas/diesel continues to drop this afternoon as the value of the microdollars in your pocket continue to decline. It isn't rocket science to see what's happening. You just recently noticed the effects of devaluation. The other problem in your post is your reference to John Kennedy sending live humans to the moon. Just like the 9-11 Commission Report, that was, too, a lie. Humans cannot withstand the intense radiation in an unshielded little spacecraft passing through the Van Allen Radiation Belts that surround this and every other planet. The pictures of the men-on-the-moon was a Hollywood production done on a big soundstage of the Federal gummit. Remember that movie they showed you of what the Earth looked like taken from the Moon, showing the big blue marble? A few years ago, the REST of the movie escaped NASA to show how it was done. As the "show" ended the idiot astronauts forgot to cut off the tape recorder. When they turned the lights back on in the spacecraft, you could see the blue surface of the planet out the ROUND porthole as they removed the black mask from around it, put there for the "show". Now, with the lights back on, you can also see the bulkhead and stuff around the porthole you couldn't see in the blackout of the "show" for TV. They were in Earth orbit over the ocean during the taping....(c; Too funny. Since I typed the toptips.com debt clock in this message, that java clock has screwed up over $52M as I type this line. Gas has gotten cheaper as the money has gotten WORTHLESS. .net: LOL! Thanks for the laughable hypothesis. It's a bit contradictory, though. Any astronauts orbiting sufficiently high to take photos showing the whole earth would be orbiting right in the middle of the Van Allen Belts! Wouldn't that fog your film! The picture was just a round porthole picture of the OCEAN below, not the whole earth.... |

Oh yea, if you want to compare dollars to dollars, inflation-wise,
check out these calculators: http://www1.jsc.nasa.gov/bu2/inflate.html Gasoline is still way cheap. Note what people pay per gallon for bottled drinking water! |

oups.com: http://www.rense.com/general32/phot.htm Where? There's no plane in those pictures. over 9000# of body parts, thousands of pounds of luggage and freight, 9000 gallons of kerosene that would have burned for DAYS, not exploded in a fireball. Most of the airplane, including the wings, engines, tail assy, and the passenger compartment would have been left OUT ON THE LAWN as the wings would have extended for hundreds of feet from the hole. Bull****....no airliner hit the Pentagon....A Predator drone is the size of the hole and has those wheels in the picture.... Oh, look at a 737 turbofan engine. You can nearly stand up in the intake. It's made of TITANIUM that melts at some godawful temperature kerosene cannot attain. Those engines would have been UNSCATHED OUT THERE ON THE LAWN AND IT ALL WAS WAY TOO HEAVY FOR THE FEW PEOPLE TRYING TO HIDE THE EVIDENCE TO CARRY OFF without a crane and several tractor trailers. http://www.freedomfiles.org/war/pentagon.htm http://home.comcast.net/~skydrifter/exp.htm http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/ppfinal.html Oh, hell, go to Google and put "9-11 Pentagon Pictures" into the search engine. There's too many to list here.... |
