LastDrop Shaft seals?

I have acquired a LastDrop shaft seal made by Lemania Company that
appears to be out of business. The unit is similar in concept to the
PSS and other rotating face seals with flexible bellows. It looks like
a solid and well made unit. Brand new and never out of the box.

It’s too large for my boat but I may have a home for it.

Does anyone have any real world experience with these particular shaft
seals?

Lack of availability of spare parts might be an issue for a long
ranging boat but I would suggest just taking along the old stuffing
box with the spares.

I found the company. You have to leave out the "T".

LastDrop Shaft seals?

Had one on my 40ft yacht, Perkins 4.108, driving a 1.25" shaft
through a flexible drive to a Maxprop look alike.

It was fitted in 1988, and I sold the boat in 2003. Shaft ran for
about 6,000 hours in that time. Never a leak, no sign of wear. I
inspected the bellows regularly looking for any signs of cracking;
none seen.
