Sailing in St Lucia
wrote:
I need some help planning a charter trip in July. My fiance are
crusing from St Lucia and have about 5 days to enjoy island hopping.
Any suggestions on islands to hop to from St. Lucia and how long it
will take to sail back and forth?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
Five days isn't quite enough to do a lot. South there is St. Vincent,
Bequea, Mayreu, Union, Palm and Tobago Cays. North there is Martinique.
St. Lucia to Bequa is a day. Bequa to Tobago Cays is a day. St. Lucia to
Martinique is a day. Bequea is great. Be sure to have lobster pizza at
Mac's. I would sail from St. Lucia to Bequea. Spend a day there, then
sail to Tobago Cays. A day there, snorkeling is great, then back to
Bequea and St. Lucia. That's about all you can do in 5 days. 15 days is
what I normally take for a charter from St. Lucia to Grenada.
