Caribbean insurance
My insurance is due for renewal and my insurance underwriter isn't
offering caribbean insurance anymore so I have to find a new insurance company. Does anyone have an insurance underwriter that has caribbean coverage? krj |

What company do you have now?
I have St. Paul, but they are not renewing ANY boat over 5 years old. Check out Zurick, that's where I'm going. -- Jay A. She can probably find something for you. www.hartgeinsurance.com I'm getting my new policy through her, and it was very reasonably priced with excellent coverage. |
Jackline (was) Caribbean insurance
Our expected supplier will be Jackline, one of IMIS' products.
As we've never had it, perhaps others here could chime in about them? Thanks. -- L8R Skip Morgan 461 #2 SV Flying Pig KI4MPC http://tinyurl.com/384p2 The vessel as Tehamana, as we bought her "Believe me, my young friend, there is *nothing*-absolutely nothing-half so much worth doing as simply messing, messing-about-in-boats; messing about in boats-or *with* boats. In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems really to matter, that's the charm of it. Whether you get away, or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you've done it there's always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you'd much better not." I've had mine with Markel through IMIS for years, great policy. I only
had one towing claim... I think I got a check a week after I sent in the paperwork. I'm renewing next month and moving up to the Jackline policy since I live aboard now. Highly recommended. |
